Artistic Getaway Day One #Austin

Every once in a while everyone needs to get away. My best friend, Erick, suggested to go on an "artistic getaway." We visited Austin, TX for a weekend and let me tell you, we found plenty of art. Austin is three hours away from Houston, and of course the road trip was full of high energy tunes and snacks. On our way to Austin we stopped at a small town because we saw an old beautiful building. This building was seriously made for pictures.

Our first stop was obviously for food, well coffee (which should considered it's own meal of the day). We spent the next couple of hours in the State Capitol. Every corner of the building was detailed, and  who doesn't like details? I felt proud to be a Texan! After, we visited the Mexic- Arte Museum. The art pieces in the museum encouraged me to think outside the box. Every art piece was different and had a hidden meaning. By this time Erick and I were starving and tired of walking. I have heard a million people talk about In-N-Out. Luckily, Austin is one of the only cities in Texas that has this burger joint. This first day was full of adventures.
