Costa Rica- La Fortuna Waterfall #Indescribable

The picture perfect Arenal Volcano

In the small town close to Arenal Volcano.
Los Lagos Hotel had a butterfly garden.

Exotic flower at Los Lagos Hotel.

The perfect view!
Do I need to explain based off these pictures? I fell in love with La Fortuna Waterfall. I can't explain what it felt like to watch the water pour to your feet. Even though the water was cold I had to get in. It took me tons of stairs to get to this waterfall but it was well worth it.

We stayed at Los Lagos which was a great decision. The resort had a pool and a bar in the hot springs area (I was obviously there all night). One of the most enjoyable parts of my morning was waking up, opening my window, and seeing the Arenal Volcano. I woke up early in the morning to visit some of the exhibits the hotel offered. There was a small lake of crocodiles, house of ants, frogs and a butterfly garden.

I also checked something big off my bucket list, but unfortunately I have no pictures to show it. :( I went zip lining!! It was such a great experience. I am terrified of heights so I knew that I had to go zip lining. Once I saw the line that I was going to be on, I was ready to jump off and cross to the other mountain. This was an unforgettable weekend!

Costa Rica- Manuel Antonio #IWasInParadise

This was the best ice cream I have had in a while.
On my second weekend I was lucky enough to visit Manuel Antonio National Park. The day was beautiful when I arrived. First, I saw many monkeys climbing through the trees. As I walked through the park I could hear many different animal noises which made the experience even better. This was my first time at a national park and it was a great experience.

After getting to hang out with the monkey's I went to the beach inside the park. The beach was beautiful! This beach was calm and the current was not strong. The public beach outside Manuel Antonio was strong and there was many more people. Both beaches were overall beautiful and I couldn't believe I was there.

Visiting this park was a great experience. Listening to the animal noises around, watching the green trees and having my feet in the white sand was peaceful. This is definitely a "must see" in Costa Rica!

Costa Rica #LetTheAdventureBegin

Volcano Poas!

Botos Lake

I found this random heart on a tree at the humming bird park.

From the moment I stepped off the airplane I knew I was in for an adventure. People rushed towards me to offer taxi rides and tours. I finally found my tour guide and she was able to take me to my "home" for the next three weeks.

The next day I woke up early because I knew that I wanted to start my adventure. We traveled to Volcano Poas. I was very excited because seeing a volcano has always been on my bucket list. I hiked to get to the Volcano, and let me tell you that it was a struggle (I need to hit the gym more often). Once I got to the top and saw the crater I couldn't believe the view. It was unbelievable! After, I hiked a little further and went to the Botos Lake, which fills an extinct crater.

After, we stopped to try several fruits and cheeses grown around the volcano. The strawberries were amazing! We also stopped at a Hummingbird garden which was beautiful. Being surrounded by hummingbirds and beautiful hydrangeas mesmerizing. My first day in Costa Rica was truly beautiful one, and this made me realize that I have an adventure in store for me. However, I lost my phone a couple of days after. I was disappointed because I lost several pictures (Some of the ones I wanted to post).
